I think test pipes might be 6 to 11 hp better than high flow cats. Test pipes + intallation is much cheaper than headers + intallation. That would change everything. The testing for the headers in December 2009 was not done from test pipes to headers only HFC's to headers.
Now when we originally tested our exhaust in July of 2009 we tested the test pipes vs. HFC's. The peak gains of the test pipes were slightly higher than the HFC's.
