They should do something, I agree. So far though it seems that everyone is being taken care of. The dealer I went to is going to foot the bill instead of taking the issue up to NNA. As long as I'm satisfied with the quality of the repaint, i have no issue with how they handled it since it is a quicker resolution than waiting for authorization from NNA. Also this is an issue that can be covered under warranty, it doesn't pose a safety hazard, so i don't see any recall coming out about it. It will be up to individual owners to take it up with the dealer/NNA.

NNA could just put out a bulletin about the problem that way the dealers would be aware of the problem and know that NNA will warranty it. I told the dealer all the info I knew about the problem and it was the first they had heard of it.
