Pretty easily remedied.
Short version:
1) Clean chip with something like dawn soapy water + alcohol to remove residue, or just alcohol
2) Using a toothpick, fill in chip, adding paint every few minutes (when tacky) until you have a nice 'bubble' of paint overflowing from the chip (make sure it's a decent amount because it will shrink as it dries)
3) Wait 2 days for it to dry, then sand down with a block and GOOD wetsand paper (Recommended: Meguiar's unigrit paper, at least 2k grit)
4) Using something like Meguiar's Ultimate Compound or M105 (my favorite), buff out the wetsand scratches. If you use M105, you will literally take them out in 10 seconds and have a perfect finish.
