I think Koepell Nissan is a sponsor, and read good things... Smithtown Nissan was a good dealership i felt (though I didn't buy a new car from them, just service), they have a relationship with performance motorsport/autobody shops that are their neighbors.

I bought my Z from a place I wouldn't recommend, and my Maxima 10 years ago from another place I'd say avoid. I've honestly only had negative experiences with Nissan dealerships buying new, and would say to even consider buying private party... You should shop around, and test drive a few vehicles, you can tell a whole lot from dealer based on how they treat you walking in, and how honest they are with you.
