A guy in my old unit had a 850Ci - didn't seem it was that troublesome for him as far as I can remember, but I could be wrong.

Which generation Supra and RX-7 are you interested in (guessing MK-IV and FD)? It'll be difficult to find either one, fairly unmolested for a decent price.

I would recommend looking at a Miata/MX-5 for a project car.
