Probably not. But it doesn't matter if/when you will use that capability. What matters is it's there and it's a selling point of the car.

200+ mph is damn impressive on a GT500. If I buy one I doubt I will ever come close to going that fast, but knowing it can do that sure adds a lot of value in the mind of the driver.
Let's look at this in stages...

"Does a GT-R owner ever use his 193 mph top speed?" Answer: not a Mustang

"Does a Z06 owner ever run to 198?" Answer: not a Miustang

"Will a ZL1 owner ever go to 184?" Answer: not a Mustang

"200+ mph is damn impressive on a GT500." Answer: false, because it's just a Mustang
