People make too big of a deal out of the live axle setup. There is no difference in behavior on the street with my 5.0s rear suspension compared to my 370Z. I think the live axle just gets a bad reputation because for a while they were really, really bad. The negative behaviors created by a live axle are often similar to, but less severe than, the behaviors generated by most sway bars. Almost any irs car setup to drive will feel the same as a car with a live axle.
