FWIW GT500 is set to take on the ZL1, not the ZR1.

It was confirmed a bit ago that the Camaro ZL1 weighs 4,120 lbs. So not only does the GT500 have a 70 hp advantage, it is also 270 lbs lighter.

GT500 - 5.92 lb/hp
ZL1 - 7.1 lb/hp

Big difference.
