The Evo is a great car, but I think some cars fit peoples personalities better. Do you consider yourself an Evo/Subie "guy"? I know it sounds silly, but after owning a Z and an Evo, surely you know what I'm talking about.

Do you do more than daily drive your cars? I'm in a similar situation right now, debating on whether I should get rid of my X and go back to a Z, since all I really do is daily drive it (originally bought it because of it's performance capabilities). Plus I have transportation in the winter if roads are bad...

What about build quality, Mitsubishi service, and the overall satisfaction you get owning the car? I owned a 350z prior to my X and loved every minute I had with that thing (quality, service, ownership satisfaction). Sadly, I can't say the same about the X. Sure its fast as hell with only moderate bolt ons, but I don't find myself grinning ear to ear as I walk up to it after work (like i did with the Z). I realize the car is built for performance but damn it feels SO cheap IMO. And the unwanted attention it brings from every rice bucket with a fartcan is annoying. The Z is just so much more mature. I'm almost 30 years old - I feel like I've outgrown the boy racer scene.
