Just for future reference, when you negotiate, you never ask, you simply tell. You hold the bargaining power.

When I bought my first car when I was 17, those bastards tried convincing me time and time again that 22,8xx was THE price for a new Civic SI, blah blah blah. Eventually I said "Look, $20,200 is simply the most I can and will pay for this car. Thanks anyways." Walked out, drove home, got a call the NEXT day saying he had been approved to sell it at that price.

IF your price is realistic and reasonable - I.E, they can still make a profit off of it, they will work with you to get the sale. The problem is with a sweet car like a 370, they know they get you invested emotionally, and you'll agree to mostly the terms they lay out when it should be the other way around.
