I know exactly what you mean, but jeopardizing my job over a front bumper didn't seem worth it.

Believe me, today I was going to take matters into my own hands. I couldn't bare to sit at my desk while nothing was being done.

Haha! That would have been awesome, unfortunately it was a middle aged Indian man.

Anyway, this morning I spoke to the security guy and he informed me he had located the owner and he would speak to him. In the end he admitted it was his fault. We exchanged insurance info and he seemed like a nice person and was genuinely apologetic. I'm not sure why it took him this long to respond, but we made progress. But I won't be satisfied until I receive a check or a confirmation from his insurance company that they are going to pay for the repairs. I've had this happen to me in the past; where another guy admitted fault but later I found out he told his insurance company I hit him. With no pictures or witnesses it was his word against mine, and I ended paying for my own repairs.
Good work, someone idiot did something like that with my old Camaro, except it was an suv and the triler hitch was left depressing into the top front bumper. Thankfully the front to that Camaro is plastic like the rest of the car and little damage was done. I returned the favor with a nice key mark down the whole side of their car.
