I have both systems, and honestly both have their pro's and con's.
XBox 360
I'm on my second XBox. 1st one had the Red Ring 'O Death, but I managed to re-flow the cpu and got it working again, so technically I have 2 at the moment. XBox live is great, but you gotta pay for it. It also has a larger game library, but the newer stuff isn't as exclusive as it used to be. Halo titles are still pretty fun, even though they have been out for a while. Forza 4 just came out also, which ranks right up there with GT-5. The only thing I really wished it had was Blu-Ray.
PS3
I only have GT-5 and usually borrow games. I just don't play either one as much to begin with. I use it more to watch movies on Blu-Ray and stream through Netflix, which I think requires a Gold membership on Xbox for XBox Live. Graphic wise, both system are just about Par. It really depends on the game anyways. I like the controller on the Xbox a little bit better, but the PS3 controller isn't that bad. It has a built in rechargeable, which is a plus.
PC
If you want all out graphics performance, a gaming rig will run you a lot of cash if you want the best of the best. You can however, pick and choose what you want. You can also do other stuff besides games. The downside is, the selection of new titles has grown smaller over the years. If your anything like me, I like playing 1st person shooters with a mouse and keyboard rather than a controller. The 1st two Modern Warfare on games I looks really sick on a PC, even with a budget gaming rig. It's like night and day compared to the console version. Only thing I hated was the multiplayer had a few glitches when MW2 came out. If your into Starcraft and other strategy games, a gaming PC would be the best way to go.
