I'll have to see about tuning/tuners, it's really hit or miss in Ontario... Although my neighbour has a high 6-low-7 second "street legal" 63 Vette, I'll have to ask him who does his tuning.

Ask them how much timing was advanced. From my own dyno expereince, the Z doesn't seem to like much extra timing up top, so it may only have a degree or two -- that
should be okay -- but best to check with your tuner.
I've been told that the motor has a pretty excellent knock detection system, and can adjust timing and VVEL to keep the motor running safely, so it may not matter at all.
At worst, it's a simple matter of just scaling back the ignition map by 1 degree at full tilt for extra safety.
That said, if the temps are getting cooler out in your area, you have even less to worry about.
