Thank you kayess. I will have a close look at that panel and see if it can be removed easily and without messing up my warranty.
Below are some test results. On each day, the cabin temp was measured with 2 thermometers after the car had been driven for 11 miles. All temps are in Celsius and the system was set to AUTO with A/C off.
There is little relationship between what you set the temperature to and the actual temperatuire achieved. 26 degrees C would be uncomfortably hot, but the car barely gets to acceptable room temperature.
The whole system works - the hot air, the vents and blower fan - I see them all changing. But the car always settles at a temperature far below the thermostat setting. It is a bit of a joke.
