Couple pics for you guys. It stays in exactly as-is with nothing extra holding it in the cubby. It hasn't fallen over/out once during spirited driving. The cable coming out at a right angle from the power cable is the FM traffic antenna extension. It's not as pretty as drilling and routing the power cable, but I need to be able to take the power cable out and use it in my other vehicle so for now I'm fine with it. Sorry about the dust on the dash, I really need to clean it. Again, this is a Garmin 2555LMT with 5" screen.
