It's ok for nowadays photography, cos the noise control on modern DSLR is very good, even at ISO 600, the noise is still ok, so the f/5.6 shouldn't cause as much problem as the old day when using film, and you can use PhotoShop afterwards to make some minor adjustment.

Surely, f/2.8 is always attractive.
