well i did a simple offset calculation and it seems like i will gain 38mm of offset in the front, and 10mm in the back when we compare that set up with the stock 18x8 18x9 rims. I might need to invest in some spacers for the back to get a more flush look but i'd have to see it first.
As for lowering the car, for now i don't plan on doing so, i am thinking the 20" rims will fill up quite a big chunk of the space under the arches. Plus i am most likely occasionally driving the car in the winter, and i need the extra clearance. I might invest in some adjustable suspension in the future to accommodate for this but for now there is no budget or plans for it.
