Congrats and Welcome! I bought my Z just over a week ago. I also looked at the new Camaros and was told that I couldn't test drive it, they are special order only, and there was a $2k to $6K premium (depending on model) over MSRP. It is irritating that GM finally is building a car that people want to buy and they are losing potential buyers like you and me. Along with the points you mentioned, we get a lot of bang for our buck with the 370Z, like the keyless entry & ignition, navi, synchrorev match, etc. Plus, I think the 370Z will hold its value much better than the Camaro, unless they stop production or GM goes out of business (not unlikely scenarios).
