I am considering a 2012 base model, but the Synchro Rev has captured my imagination (my experience with controls systems cause my mind to go into overdrive when I see Synchro Rev). That being said, I have been driving a MT 240SX for 16 years, so I am wondering if that extra $ could be better spent.

Please weigh in if you own a Z with Synchro Rev and state that you have this option: I would like to be able to identify opinions from S-Rev owners.

BTW, I've read a couple of threads and the quality of postings and people seems much better than any other auto community. Kudos.
ive been driving MT's pretty much forever and do heel and toe like any seasoned MT driver out there. even so i think SRM is worth it mainly because the Z has throttle lag (latency). there's a slight delay from the time you press the throttle to when it actually responds.

if you get use to it it's really no big deal but when i need to make unexpected sudden gear changes the Z doesn't respond fast enough to my blip throttle input like say, my G35C can. with SRM, the blip comes very quickly so this helps greatly in such case. and being a musician i HATE latency...

that said, SRM is a great feature for my Z driving.
