no, i'm saying that now you can get cams for most motors and they do add quite a bit of power.
The Z however does not have them out yet. The current Camaro we are comparing the Z to does have it, which helps with the power... and that for a V6 vs. a V8 with mods done that being able to beat a Z isn't really saying that much considering that all we have basically is all air mods, yet we aren't even talking this car running more than 3-4 tenths faster with equal drivers... and some may argue the Z could still win. A track is based more on conditions, driver, etc etc than on what it could actually do on paper... which is the reason we race.
I myself am not a big fan of 1/4 racing. It's nice to see what a car will do with certain mods... etc... but I just use that as a gauge. I would much rather use the Z for what it was intended for. Much like the 2 Evo's I owned Prior to this car and so many people could run good 1/4 times, but the car wasn't made for that. It's fun sure, but for me personally, doing some road racing would be much more fun.
