Let me Try to help:

YOU WILL NEED ALEN WRENCHES, HIGH TEMP LOCKTITE

-Jack up the car driver side towards the front.

-look for the steering column (shaft going from driver side firewall to block)

-you will see a little coupler at the end of the shaft

-before removing check to see how your oil feed line is ran. If its rubbing the coupler, it could be contributing to the noises but is not the problem.

-on that coupling are 2 things that need remove. a nut (with stud) and another stud on the top. If the install was done correctly, it should have locktite on it so it may be a hassle to remove. use alen wrench

-once they are both out take it off by pushing the shaft towards the fire wall (it will slide up) then just remove the coupler.

-now what you need to do it go to the steering wheel and find the center by counting the turns left and right DO NOT TURN TURN FAST OR HARD you may disconnect or activate airbag. if you want to disconnect negative on the battery go ahead.

-once you found the center, go back under the car.

- WITHOUT turning/rotating the shaft connect the coupler. but be mindful that you may need to pull it back down. another thing is that the shaft has a notch on it and this is where the stud will be lined up with.

-get the coupling onto the block (i can't remember the proper name)

-when you get that done, go check the steering wheel to make sure its correct.

-be sure that the coupler is completely on before doing the next step.

- take your locktite and one at a time put locktite on the stud and reinstall using the alen wrench.

-if this doesn't work then take it back or if you just don't want to do it yourself then take it back.
