That's my thought process.

Of course I am also mulling just ditching the intake and tune and not worrying about it. I won't do that, though. I'll just stick with dropping the octane specification on my tunes.

I'm probably going to switch from Performance to Street, and my new Street tune is for 89 octane.

Regarding octane, in stock form the ECU will run on anything 87 or higher. Ford says it makes 405 hp on 87 and the full 412 on 93. So obviously a little conservative with the timing advance, but still, there is not a large power difference.
