Last time I checked, NZ was aligned with the US as a founding nation of the UN as well as keeping up what could be considered "good" working relations on a broad array of international issues including supporting the US in both Korea and Vietnam.
Not to mention NZ's support of the Gulf war and invasion of Afghanistan.
It's not nice to make generalizations. Not all of us agree with the current events and policies made by the government. I for one don't agree at all with an undeclared and unconstitutional "war" in the middle east.
