If it makes a difference, I will most likely be getting teh automatic, which leans me towards the 370z as I hear the 7speed is a fantastic auto and paddle shifters are still fun.
I have the 7AT. I've always been a manual shifting kind of person and the 370Z changed that. No, it's not a dual clutch auto but for a slushbox it's amazing. When I drive to work it's very relaxing and when I want to get on it I don't feel like the 7AT is holding me back.

It's a little hard to accept a sports car with an automatic. However, once you drive it there isn't much you're missing. If you want to track the car get the 6MT (or if you just like the mechanical connection), otherwise don't be afraid of the 7AT.

Of course, the 6MT guys will laugh at you.
