I think perception is difficult to regulate.

It's crazy how so many people I've met in the 18-25 age range (not all mind you, so no offense ) think their first job should give them $100k+ with a management position. It seems that the days when people expected to do grunt work for their first 5-7 years and develop basic and fundamental skills are slipping away.

If you're 18 and own a 370Z that's great. If you're working and making decent $ but are not putting yourself through college (hence, the $ for the car) then that's a choice you're making.

Oh, and I'm not that old...mid 30's.
