This is off topic but these two statements are why the thread went south:

The value of $10K to one man may differ from another. For the guy that has a family and household to maintain, spending $10K (whether he has it or not) may not be viable at that moment in time. My wife and I just had twin boys (not asking for any sympathy or anything...lol) and I'd love to boost my car. However, I now have to think about the two additional mouths I have feed in addition to diapers, clothes, medical coverage and college funds. To me, the $10K is better invested into my sons future at this point in time. Could I have purchased a more expensive car than my Z? Yep. Was it feasible at the time? Nope. It’s as simple as that.

I know many members on this forum that have the means to purchase more expensive vehicles but happily purchased a 370. In addition, we all mod our cars within the means available to us. So, I don't see the merit or value of the two above statements......

Sorry for the rant........
