I've mentioned before my skepticism about recent and current SIG firearms. While earlier versions (German) are superb, reliable weapons, the new SigArms paradigm is quite suspect in the view of many, many department armorers.
I saw a thread on another sight that illustrates another direction relative to SIG corporate concept and IMHO is even more puzzling to me than their often-reported current corner cutting in design and relative lack of quality control.
Admittedly, I view firearms as tools, not as art, but the Sig MasterShop has gone beyond my ability to comprehend their overall corporate policy. I think it's illustrative of Sig's new corporate direction and represents a reason I wouldn't buy a current Sig firearm.
I would rather have one of these than a painting of Elvis on black velvet, but still.....
