You'd be surprised about the fun factor; the GTR is fast and grips like hell, but the Z feels more nimble and the driver feels more involved. To me, the Z was way more fun than the GTR.

Viper, I don't know. It's almost got too much power for the street; on track it'd be a ball, though.

Someone looking at a Merc C63 AMG is usually after performance with status, so you're right, they aren't going to cross shop with a SHO.

But when you're talking sports cars, enthusiast shoppers care more about fun than anything else.
