I have looked at the 2012 Porsche 911 which is 3-4x the price of my 5.0.

I can't speak for Dan, but I would guess that he's like me in that he wants a good value when he buys a car so he doesn't have to take money away from other hobbies. I know I could go out and buy a new 911, but then I'd have to cut spending elsewhere and that's not really something I want to do.

FWIW, I have a client with a net worth of $20 million. Last year he called me up to do a wire. For a car. "Ok," I thought, "Lambo? Aston? Porsche?" Nope. $20k wire to cover the purchase of a Civic.

I think we are pretty similar in that respect...I'm not looking to waste huge amounts of money on a car, but I'll do it if it makes sense. Right now
I have other priorities, like traveling and building my collection of polite tea party guests
