But any ways that gives me an excuse to get the Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 BEAST lens I've been wanting to get forever now. The camera was left plugged in to the computer after an earlier upload and when I grabbed it to head out the door it tugged from the cable and OUCH! Was about to cry. D700 is fine though I got lucky. I've been shooting for years and never dropped any of my equipment until then, and even luckier still that was my cheapest lens.

I have lost a few cameras over the years. In High School, I borrowed a buddy's underwater housing for my Canon F-1. I took some great shots with it, but when I opened the housing it was full of seawater. Bad seal on the housing was the cause.
