Im more of an LT1 guy. built a mild .060 over motor for my old 95 firebird. never dynoed but it was a ~350whp car w a stock cam and no tune (never got to finish the build

I most def do give credit to the heads. Just with .600" of lift you have to have a way to get it in and get it out. So youd have to have an intake and headers, at the very least, to move the air. I never got all the mods from the OP so it was more of a general statment. If your building a small block, LSX is hands down the way to go. i miss the tq of a v8
