The last two annual Gordon Biersch meets took place on Saturday afternoon/evening depending on when you arrived. Saturdays allow for folks to not have to worry about driving if they drink, and of course if you are Gordon Biersch you most likely will drink. Not everyone but most. I had been waiting to announce The Third Annual GB Meet until GB begins celebrating Oktoberfest with their liter specials, which is a good time to do it. Just my two cents, FWIW.
