Well for me it's because of the cost. Don't want to spend too much money on the Z. I'd rather save that extra $1-2k for a house or a GT-R. The springs are enough for what I want to do with the car and enough for me to have a lot of fun in it.

I do plan on tracking it, but I don't have to make it into a track all star. Coilovers would be awesome for the track. So would a good diff, a good BBK, track tires, etc. The cost adds up very quickly, but I'm sure you know all about that.
