yah, i am extremely careful with that stuff. there's a special plush MF towel that i use with the no-rinse and i only make one pass while i kinda roll the towel in my hand to ensure only the clean part of the towel makes contact with the grit and dont drag it. if the car drove through rain obviously i wont use this stuff, but if it's only some puddles i use it as a super-lubricity QD.
it's quite safe if one uses it correctly.
