Default Ongoing Review For The Motordyne M370 ...

I've had the Motordyne M370 on for a few weeks and I believe that now would be a good time for an objective review. Review that I hope would help peers on the forum make an informed decision about the M370 mod.

First off, I would like to thank Kirkster (Our awesome and always willing to help MidA Expert) for the install; Daisuke, Zcarman & Staples whose highly detailed reviews & positive experiences were a major factor in my purchase decision; B1ades for assisting Kirk and entertaining us during the install; last but not least Tony for an exceptional/professional product as well as customer service.

At the time of this initial review, I haven't pulled the official dyno numbers yet but will be doing so soon ... hence the "ongoing" review Now on to the good stuff.

Purchase Process/Delivery Process:
I purchased the M370 during the "Osama got his butt owned by our seals" promotion (Hoorah!); though abroad at the time, Tony was prompt to reply to my concerns and made sure that I had the unit nicely packaged & delivered as soon as I was back in the US.

Installation:
The installation process of the M370 is fairly straightforward for any mechanically inclined individuals and with all the appropriate tools. The second time Kirk did it, it took about 1.5 hour, including the car cool-off time. One key thing during install, make sure to lay a towel on the engine block once the stock manifold intake is out. You wouldn't want anything to get inside the block ... good luck if you do drop anything in there.

Performance/Enhancement:
There was a drastic difference in engine sound once the M370 was installed. The exhaust note is throatier and deeper. The car nicely screams and roars (Please refer to video below for illustration).
I haven't done any dyno pulls however, it is very obvious that there was a huge gain in power specifically torque in the mid-range. The 5th & 6th gears pull harder up to around 7500 (Will get definite number during tune). The car feels more aggressive overall, my lady's and my butt dyno can definitely attest to this gain of power(considering how she swings during gear shifts as much as bowling pin being striked and also by how she gets pushed back in the seat ). I am very very satisfied with the gains on this front and I am looking forward to seeing how much more power would be squeezed out after the tune.

The Not So Good Part:
As part of an objective review, I have to bring the good as well as the not so good parts. The M370 is truly an outstanding unit that does the job, the negatives are not with the product itself but rather with the documentation for the installation. Kirk and I had to go through the installation twice as we were not aware of the fact that the plate HAD to be installed with the unit in order for the provided bolts to fit. We found this out way after the stock manifold was installed and the M370 set on the engine; I didn't have the plate with me at the time... however, much to our surprise we were able to get a hold of the customer service on a sunday afternoon to get help; that was definitely a good surprise. There were even a follow up call and email to ensure that my issues were fully resolved; those actions further confirmed to me that Motordyne does provides excellent customer service.

Overall Thoughts:
Based on my experience with the M370, I do believe that this is a great mod that most would be pleased with. The gains I experienced are very significant and I will be providing an update once I get the tuning done. I hope this helps sway your decision with the M370 unit.
