I'm not thin skinned or anything and I'm not really advocating on my behalf since I mostly post in social threads anyway. Jokes and ribbing are understandable and expected in a resurrected thread, but I don't really understand why people get so upset about new threads that rehash old topics. I mean who cares. If you don't want to discuss it then don't post.
Some of those topics are interesting precisely because there is always the tendency to devolve into a flame war. Frankly I love a good slam-bam toss out the insults flame war -- lol ... keeps the moderators on their toes. Besides, this is the internet and flames don't burn
