I have powdercoated over 1000 sets of calipers in the last 4 years, and probably over 25sets of our calipers since the G37 came out. You can powdercoat them with seals in place, but it is not the most desireable way to do it. I fully disassemble them, completely strip then re coat and apply logos. depending on color, (reds bleed) the logos are usually painted and clearcoated, but sometimes they are vinyl stickers. Vinyl will hold up just fine to heat, but can also discolor if the brakes are overheated or coated with dust from a track session.
