Default My WA Trip

This past weekend, I flew up to Seattle to meet up with my dad who has been working in Olympia for the past year and is leaving this job for a new company back in Irvine. Last summer, we drove up to move him in so it seemed fitting to help him drive back down!

I knew a Saab buddy was in the area so we met up at Griot's Garage, definitely a place to see if you like detailing stuff and classic cars since they have a showroom with various cool cars and host regular car meets. I got to check out his 1987 E30 M3 ('87 build year, '88 model year), God I love the E30 M3. Such an honest and simple car, you can feel that even in the passenger's seat.

I took a few pictures around Griot's Garage as well as some of my friend's M3, wish I had more time to shoot his car a bit more though!

The M3:

8krpm, inline 4 cylinder engine, what an awesome machine:

Some shots of Griot's Garage:

They seem to like sawing off parts and sometimes cars:

Some interesting cars outside: bosozoku style exhaust

Slammed Miata on steelies with some super aggressive camber:

I also shot a few of my parent's LS430 too after cleaning it off. I detailed the car to perfection before we drove it up last year but I didn't have high expectations in my dad's car washing techniques haha, but my dad took pretty good care of it the year it was here. This car can do some wicked burnouts, probably my favorite Lexus besides the LSF:

Anyways, I figured I'd share these pictures since I thought they came out pretty well. I am getting a 35mm prime lens soon so I hope it will improve my automotive photography a bit. Thanks for looking!
