I think of it less as a performance improvement and more of a car improvement(like buying a nismo)

all that work and money is for a motor that would be much more reliable with a closed deck block and a proven performer that is normally coupled to crappy automatic which is why you don't see huge titan power levels and why the stillen supercharger puts out "only" 440hp and 450ftlbs (over 400 from 3300-5300). the factory motor can push more than that (and well over 1khp with new pistons, rods, and headwork) when coupled to a tougher tranny, that won't smoke every clutch in it after 10,000miles like the slushbox does.

Menard racing pumps 790hp NATURALLY ASPIRATED out of a stock block vk56

The REAL NISMO JGTC cars used the the vk56 as well as the JGTC GTR's with flatplane crankshafts and rotating assemblies

They sound BITCHIN

as for the LS swap people it is not just for the NISSAN factor, a cammed VK56 can make as much power as an LS2 while making more torque in the process

Also no more PITA nissan ecu compents you could probably save more than the 80lb weight difference between motors just by getting rid of the damn computers and factory boxes the aem unit replaces. I would end up re wiring the car so that no "ice-mode" "throttle delay" "power cuts" "limp modes" and other "worst idea nissan ever had" 's would ever come up.
