Yesterday, with S-mode on, I reversed out of the driveway and it reved to 2500rpms on its own! It's starting to get on my nerves so it's switched off at the moment. It just seems to run smoother with S-mode off and less fidgity.

Should I just take it to a dealer and try to replicate the issue?
Did you just turn the car on right before you backed out? If so, if you dont wait 15-20 seconds for the RPMs to drop and you give it gas to get the car moving and then push in the clutch, the car tends to rev up to 2.5-3K. I dont think this is related to the SRM though.
