Yea they rly do work. Use armor all wipes. I use it on my suv's gray interior and it wipes the black shoe scuffs right off my door sills and doors. Even works on fabric seats. It doesnt leave an oily shiny finish to it which i like. It makes it looks more factory looking and untouched. Those things work. I wouldnt suggest you using a sharpie marker either. Theyre not 100% black either and it has this purplish navy hue when light is shining on it. Your dash color probably doesnt even match the sharpie. Stay away from sharpie!! It isnt a drawing board haha. Well try the wipes and good luck
