It's a PVC Filter and it shouldn't affect oil temps. The ambient temps are plain hot and without an oil cooler are normal it's not like you're hitting 250 and higher. I'd suggest turning on the AC to lower the oil temps a little, And I would suggest an oil cooler if you have not installed on yet.
On a correct fix? You may have to buy a used set just for that part unless you get lucky that someone's nice enough to just sell you that piece, And like KingBaby suggested A local salvage or online salvage will have it but will probably try to sell you the whole unit.
