Then I would say you have an issue unless you're tracking the car.

My experience:

1995 Trans Am LT1 w/150K miles--1/4-1/2 qt usage per 3K miles.
2001 WS6--3/4 qt per 4500 miles
Mustang 5.0 w/poorly built motor and forged pistons--1qt per 1200 miles
2002 G20 w/125K miles--1qt per 3K miles
2011 Z06 w/3300 miles---none measurable in 2500 miles.

1qt per 1K miles in a new car after the break-in period is absolutely unacceptable to me.

With Mobil 1's 7500 mile formula, you would never have the change the oil, lol.

It's time to go to your Nissan dealer and have them start an oil-consumption test. (unless you are constantly beating the hell out of the car, engine-braking from redline, etc. in which case you're doing great.)
