Isn't the engine that gets the oil temps up and heatsoaks everything around it including MAF which monitors IAT?
As per the service manual of the g37, these input parameters control the IGN timing
- Crankshaft position sensor (POS)
- Camshaft position sensor (PHASE)
- Mass air flow sensor
- Engine coolant temperature sensor
- Throttle position sensor
- Accelerator pedal position sensor
- Park/neutral position (PNP) switch
- Battery
- Knock sensor
- Unified meter and A/C amp
