Similar thing happened a couple of years ago on a BMW M5 a guy won.

I won't say the dealer "honored" the price. Like in this case he finally caved.

If I remember correctly, the dealer took a HUGE hit on that one. Somewhere between 10 and 20K I think.

I think a lot of times, dealers put younger guys who are "web savvy" in charge of their internet sales who aren't auction and sales savvy.
