Two words for that sleazy dealer: RESERVE PRICE

How stupid does one have to be to not list a reserve price? It's one of the most basic concepts of an auction. It says, "minimally, I'll accept X dollars for my item." All they had to do was list a reserve price, and then decide at the end of the auction whether they'd accept a low-ball offer or move on. It's not like auctions are a novel concept or anything.

I'm glad they caved to the pressure, but they should have just given dude the car from the word go.

And if this happened to a member of this forum, we'd react the same. We'd light up the dealership and every auto mag in town.
