But $29.9 is so far above what it's worth that it's not worth negotiating on the car. I would tell them you are a buyer are $x, here is my number, call me when you want to sell the car, but that in the meantime you are looking elsewhere (as are they). If you get the call and haven't bought yet, great. If you buy something else first, great. If they find another buyer to pay more first, well, there are lots of Z's out there.

I understand completely. I don't want that car anyway. I'm actually looking for a used base + sport and as much as I want the car, I'll wait until I get the deal I want. Just like my last car, I'm banking on the winter months here in the midwest to help get the deal I want. It's amazing how much leverage you can get with the help of a little snow.
