I knew nobody would let that slip in the end. There is a dramatic difference between a DCT (aka DSG/PDK/whatever branding) semi-auto (which are true manuals, designed with dual true clutches controlled by a computer), and ours which is a true automatic with manual controls (still has the basic internal valving and design of an automatic, with a torque converter).

I'd much rather have a DCT type transmission than our 7AT, but at the 370Z's price point it's not a horrible compromise .
