I spoke with a member on this forum who has this exact setup - stock suspension and the 6-point brace. Apparently the brace bottoms out around town fairly often. After only 2 months of driving on the street, he noticed cracks in the brace.

I called GT-SPEC to ask if they had redesigned, or plan on redesigning, the 6-point brace. They said no. Their reason for the low clearance was the size of the stock cats, as you might expect. It seems a bit ironic, though, that their product was designed to work with the stock cats yet can only be used on the track, where most people would not be using the stock cats anyway. Anyway, they didn't seem too concerned with it, so don't hold your breath waiting around for an updated product.

I wonder if there are any other companies willing to make a version of this brace with better clearance. Anyone know a candidate? It looks like you could route the troublesome bar in front of the cats (instead of directly across them) and preserve the ground clearance.
