LOL. Sure the air they bring in is cold, but when the metal tubes get heated to well over 200F they become little air heaters. The stock plastic tubing is far superior in this regard as plastic is a good insulator. So you start the car up with your G3's and it feels great right after warm up, but after a few laps on the track or carving the switchbacks it starts to feel more sluggish.

I used the same product as wstar to wrap the intakes, works pretty well. You need 2 total as it is a dual intake. I didn't bother with the lacing as I didn't care about it looking pretty; zip ties and foil tape.
